The Katana Craft & Art collection includes top-class photo papers. Produced in Japan Germany and France, they meet the strictest requirements of leading photo printer manufacturers.

They are suitable for all types of images – color, black-and-white, high contrast, pastel. The high-quality coating and extremely wide color gamut make these media a favorite among professional photographers and photo studios.

The multi-layer microporous coating ensures instant ink absorption, UV protection, and water resistance of the printed image – you can immerse it in water for several minutes, and once removed, the image will remain intact, even if printed with DYE inks!

The special coating supports printing at resolutions over 5760 dpi, offers extremely short drying time, and resists smudging immediately after printing.

The resin coating (RC) isolates the cellulose base from the ink, allowing heavy ink coverage with no risk of cockling or warping.

After printing, the photo feels dry to the touch immediately. However, we recommend waiting 24 hours before framing, especially if the image will come into direct contact with glass. This is because the moisture from the ink, although absorbed by the coating, may not yet be fully evaporated. Delaying framing until the next day ensures no condensation or sticking to the glass occurs.

In summary:
Affordable, but high quality alternative to the Premium RC papers, bright printing colors, beautiful textured surfaces, mountable with standard paper glue.

Usage and Storage Instructions:

• Use and store in conditions of 35–65% relative humidity and 10–30°C (50–86°F).

• Store papers in quality archival sleeves, folders, and boxes.
• Use only high-quality tapes and adhesives for mounting and framing.
